The Wieting Toledo Iowa

After Dr. Wietings death in 1906, Helen donated to theatres in the three towns that they had resided in during their marriage. The last theatre to be built is located in Toledo, Iowa. Opened in 1912, the Toledo theatre was built to seat about 600 patrons. Like our theatre, the Wieting in Toledo operates as a not for profit organization supplying the community with movies and performances year round.
